Spielberg: 'Jurassic Park 4' in the works
Spielberg "Jurassic Park 4'' is under way with a story in place and should hit theaters in the next 2-3 years, Steven Spielberg told the Hall H crowd at Comic-Con on Friday.Spielberg gave few details in response to the audience question about the project, which Spielberg had been rumored to be mulling in the past several weeks.But now the project is steadily moving toward production with a writer and story in place, the director said.The first three "Jurassic Park" films grossed xxxxx at the worldwide box office and ushered in a new era of photoreal computer animation effects.Spielberg was in San Diego for the annual confab for the first time since xxxx, when he was here to promote xxxxx. This time he was tubthumping "The Adventures of Tintin," a motion-capture epic for which Peter Jackson's WETA is doing effects. Jackson, on a break from shooting "The Hobbit" in New Zealand, joined Spielberg for the panel."Those dinosaurs had a real effect on me," Jackson said after Spielberg's disclosure. "They still are."
